It’s hard to believe the number of refineries and petrochemical plants to the east of Houston. They stretch for miles in a fascinating array of tanks, columns and venting steam.
This shot was taken from the top of the San Jacinto Memorial which is a great view over the ship canal and industry around it.

Absolutely perfect in black and white. The contrast is perfect and I don’t think that could have happened any other way.
