Happy New Year! I don’t have any particularly New Year-related images to post but here’s one that at least has associations with grand new beginnings.
Independence Hall inside Washington on the Brazos State Historic Site was the site of the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence on March 2nd, 1836. The original building was destroyed in a fire but this replica was reconstructed in 1962.
