Allosaurus (maybe)

I don’t think I would ever have made it as a photojournalist since I’m pretty hopeless at remembering to take notes when out shooting. Here’s an example – this great fossil is on display in the amazing new paleontology exhibit at the Houston Museum of Natural Science but I can’t remember exactly which dinosaur it’s from. I’m sure it’s not the T-Rex but that’s about as far as my identification goes.

If anyone wants to fill me in on which terrible lizard this guy is, I will gladly change the title and rewrite this post.

I’d say it’s a saber-toothed veloci-rex-itops-asaurus! OK, I don’t know, but I loved dinos as a kid and still do, and I like this shot!
