Texas Memorial Stadium

Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium is the home of the UT Longhorn football team. It can be found on the east side of the UT campus and seats over 100,000 fans.

While I’m the first to admit that I’m no huge football fan, I love attending games here – the atmosphere is absolutely electric during major home games when the place is completely full.

This shot was taken from the upper stand on the west side of the stadium, the half-time normal perch for whoever is acting as Longhorn Band photographer that day. From here, you can shoot nice 5-frame panoramas of the marching formations or get a complete fisheye view of the stadium as seen here.
