Feed Mill, Science Mill

Last week, I posted a picture of what appeared to be renovation work at the old feed mill in Johnson City. Thanks to an email from Jana Schmidt, I now know what is going on there and it’s rather exciting (if you’re a science geek like me). The complex is to be the home of the Hill Country Science Mill, a science center. According to their web site, “the Hill Country Science Mill will be a window to the exciting world of science, engineering and technology, an adventure of amazing discovery, inspiring curiosity about science and how technology works.” Sounds fun and it’s opening in 2014.
