While we’re in macro mode, here’s another image from last Saturday’s Zilker Botanical Garden photowalk. Towards the start of the walk, we found a collection of fern plants containing many new shoots that were in the process of opening. I find it fascinating how a fern leaf starts like this and unwraps to form the large, flat result.
