Marc Marquez, Repsol Honda Team

I spent the afternoon out at Circuit of the Americas again yesterday, watching final practice and qualification for today’s MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas. Photographically, this was actually more fun than the F1 Grand Prix, partly because the bikes and riders are so much more vividly coloured and also because my panning skills appear to have improved since last November.

This shot shows Marc Marquez of Repsol Honda Team during qualification. He went on to take the fastest lap and pole position for this afternoon’s race.
