Sand Ridge

We spent most of yesterday travelling between Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona and Alamogordo, New Mexico. Weather was a bit of a problem and one hour was spent sitting on the side of Interstate 40 waiting for the mother of all storms to pass. We got to our destination a couple of hours later than planned, though, so could spend this morning, as planned, in White Sands National Monument,.

Needless to say, I’ve not processed any of today’s pictures yet but here’s one from our last trip a couple of year ago.
