Building in Layers, Taipei

I was struck by the interesting design of this up-market residential building about a block from my hotel in Taipei. The general inspiration seems to have come from a seashell or, perhaps, a flower with an array of rotated petals forming the main facade.

I tried to find out the building’s name but it must be too new for Google because it doesn’t appear in the overhead pictures provided by Google Maps. Remind me to take better notes next time.
