Empire State Building

I’m willing to bet that this is New York’s most recognisable building. The Empire State Building sits at 5th Avenue and 34th Street right in the centre of midtown Manhattan. It opened in 1931 after 2 years of construction and stood as the world’s tallest building for 40 years.
