Palace of Westminster

Most people will probably recognise this view as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament in London. Most people would also be wrong.

What you are looking at here is the clock tower in the Palace of Westminster, St. Stephen’s Tower or, since 2012, The Elizabeth Tower. Big Ben is actually one of the bells that hangs inside the tower and, as a result, is not visible from anywhere in London at all (unless you are lucky enough to find yourself inside this building) 🙂
