Stormy Morning

This picture represents day 2 in my 5 Day Black and White challenge from James Howe. Our first shooting stop on the Saturday of the Maine trip was at Nubble Lighthouse, otherwise known as the Cape Neddick Light Station. It was a drizzly, stormy morning which made for some interesting wave action as seen here in a view looking northwards from the lighthouse (which is out of the shot on my right).

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/27
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 52mm
  • ISO: 100
  • Shutter speed: 1s
