I shot this picture a couple of years ago during a downtown photo walk but, since Christmas decoration pictures aren’t really applicable any time other than December, it’s sat in my “Good images not on photoblog” Lightroom collection since then waiting to be rediscovered. The subject is the top of the Christmas tree in Austin’s Driskill Hotel. The tree is placed in the main foyer, immediately beneath a fantastic stained glass cupola.
