Sunrise in Acadia National Park, Maine

A sunrise image seems appropriate for New Year’s Day so here’s one from my October trip up to Maine with the NxNW photoblogger crowd. This was taken from Thunder Hole looking towards Otter Cliffs just after sunrise when the light was warm and lovely.

Happy New Year to everyone! Let’s hope that 2015 is a safe, prosperous and healthy year for all of us.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/16
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 14mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/60s

Thanks, Len. We only had 5 choices each for the book so I tried to mix things up a bit and this one didn’t make the cut. Now if we had had 6 or 7 choices each….

Un contraste splendide entre les couleurs du ciel et celles des rochers.
J’en profite pour te souhaiter, Dave, une excellente année 2015, qui verra la réalisation de tes projets.
