Western Isles, Yachting Heaven

Scotland’s Western Isles provide one of the most popular sailing destinations in Europe. The large number of islands, good moorings and great hospitality make it a fantastic place to putter about in a boat over the summer. Here’s a shot I took from Mull last summer showing one of the boats in the mooring at Tobermory.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 116mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/350s
