Razorbill (Alca Torda)

The island of Lunga near Mull in Scotland is home to many thousands of seabirds. I’ve already posted several pictures of Atlantic Piffincs but there are also a large number of razorbill (Alca torda) on the island too. This bird has a special significance in our family due to it also being the name of my wife’s publisher!

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 460mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Shutter speed: 1/1000s
