Seaholm Sign and Frost Bank Tower

Anyone from Austin will recognise these two iconic landmarks. The lit sign on the side of the Seaholm Power Plant (now being renovated into a residential, commercial and retail complex) and the fantastic shape of the top of the Frost Bank Tower on Congress Avenue. This shot was taken from almost the same location as yesterday’s, namely the north end of the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge near Lamar Boulevard.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/16
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 300mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Shutter speed: 2s
