Explore the Elements

This is a rather different post from usual. I’ve been challenged by Rob Hanson to take part in the Thomas Cook “Explore the Elements” travel photoblogging competition which requires that I post four pictures, one illustrating each of the elements Water, Earth, Fire and Air. Here are my selections. Click on each for a larger version.

Earth - Mesas and Spires

Water - Rain Stopped Play

Fire - Kilauea Crater, Hawaii

Air - Reflected Sky, South Padre Island
Air – Reflected Sky, South Padre Island, TX

The rules also state that I have to nominate 5 other photobloggers to take part (don’t you love these viral things?) so the following people are invited to post their images before the deadline on March 16th.

  • Antonio Marques
  • Sean Galbraith
  • Chris Nitz
  • Justin Balog
  • Mike Criswell

Nice work, Dave! And you came up with these so quickly, too. I love the entry for Air… great clouds.
