San Juan Islands, Washington

The only day we had “bad weather” on our trip was the one during which we took the ferry from Anacortes, Washington to Sidney, B.C. through the San Juan Islands. It was cool, overcast and misty but at least it gave me an opportunity to shoot arty “tonal recession” shots like this one.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: CORPORATION
  • Exposure bias: +1EV
  • Focal length: 300mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Shutter speed: 1/350s
