British Columbia Legislature, Victoria

The B.C. Legislature sits on the Inner Harbour in Victoria and houses the government of the province. The building, designed by 25 year old Francis Rattenbury who won a competition to design it, was opened in 1898. As with most building projects, this one ran horribly over budget, costing a total of $923,000 with an original budget of $500,000.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/9.5
  • Camera: CORPORATION
  • Focal length: 210mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/250s
