Tiger Tubas

School is almost ready to restart after the summer break so that means we are back to early morning and late evening band rehearsals. I spent a couple of hours on Monday evening taking pictures while the Dripping Springs Tiger Band practiced their 2015 marching season show. You’ve got to admire the dedication and commitment these kids show as they rehearse 6 to 8 hours a day to get ready for the start of football season and, more importantly, band competitions. Oh, did I mention that it was well over 100 degrees at the time?

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/6.3
  • Focal length: 550mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/1000s
