Vandegrift at BOA

This past Saturday was the first marching competition of the season for Dripping Springs High School. The Bands of America Texas Regional was held in Round Rock and featured a couple of dozen bands from Central Texas. The shows were absolutely fantastic this year and Dripping Springs ended up 8th overall. I grabbed this shot of the Vandegrift Viper Band lining up to enter the field before their prelim performance.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 500mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/500s
