Color Guard in Red

By coincidence, today’s picture was also taken during Vandegrift High School’s performance at Bands of America last weekend. Their show was based on the Planet Suite by Gustav Holst and ended with “Mars” accompanied by an amazingly spectacular color (yes, I’m using the US spelling) guard display in winged, red dresses. The effect was incredible!

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 600mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/750s
