Atlantic Puffin, Lunga

It’s about time we had another puffin picture, I reckon. Here’s an Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula Arctica) seen on the island of Lunga, part of the Treshnish Isles just off Mull on the west coast of Scotland, during our trip back there in 2014.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 600mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Shutter speed: 1/750s

Just for the record, this is a REAL puffin and not one of those pseudo-puffins Bob kept pointing out up in Acadia 🙂
