Classic Lotus

When I was a kid, we had a Scalectrix racing set and there would always be fights over who got to drive the JPS Lotus. Although it wasn’t as cool as the 6-wheeled Tyrrell, it won all our races. I was quite delighted, then, to see exactly that car on show during the historic cars race at Circuit of the Americas during last year’s Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Exposure bias: +3/6EV
  • Focal length: 200mm
  • ISO: 100
  • Shutter speed: 1/125s
