Sunrise at Thunder Hole

Today marks one week until the start of NxNW 2016, our annual photoblogger pilgrimage to somewhere completely awesome (Grand Tetons National Park this year). To get myself into the spirit for the adventure, I’m going to devote the next week to pictures from the previous 4 NxNW get-togethers. The first of these was taken in October 2014 when we spent a glorious long weekend in Acadia National Park, Maine. One of the trip highlights was catching the sunrise from Thunder Hole and this is one of the images from that morning.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 28mm
  • ISO: 800
  • Shutter speed: 1.5s
