Arrow-leaf Balsamroot

At the beginning of June, Grand Tetons National Park was sprinkled with large, yellow, somewhat daisy or sunflower-like flowers. A bit of Googling indicated that these are arrow-leaf balsamroot. This particular specimen was a bit past its peak but I couldn’t pass up the photo with a background like that.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/4.2
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 45mm
  • ISO: 64
  • Shutter speed: 1/750s
