Since everyone else seems to be posting photos from Schwabacher Landing, here’s another one from our recent Grand Tetons trip. This image was taken at 6:30 in the morning by which time the best sunrise light had already passed. If you want those lovely, golden shots, you really do need to get up horribly early in the summer. Most mornings, we had our alarms set for either 3:30am or 4:00am to allow us to get to our location and get set up in time to catch the 10 or 15 minutes of prime light somewhere around 5:50am.
