Solitude Sitting

While on the road last week, I only had an (old) iPad with me and very little time to play with it so my postings suffered. We got home yesterday, though, and I’ve had a chance to download my pictures so here’s the first. This shows my son, Cameron, sitting on the crest of a dune in White Sands National Monument near Alamogordo, New Mexico.

(With apologies to Suzanne Vega for the title)

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/6.7
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 300mm
  • ISO: 100
  • Shutter speed: 1/500s
