Manor Ghost Town

This month’s Austin Photowalking Group outing was to the J. Lorraine Ghost Town in Manor, an amusing collection of old western buildings which, I gather, is quite frequently used as a film set. We got there at the crack of dawn and there was already a crew was filming for a new video game in the saloon. It was pretty hot and sticky so I only stayed for a couple of hours but it’s definitely somewhere I plan to go back to later. I’ve not processed any of the DSLR shots from the visit yet but here’s an iPhone image, processed in Snapseed, that I rather like.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/2.2
  • Camera: iPhone 6
  • Focal length: 4.15mm
  • ISO: 32
  • Shutter speed: 1/210s
