Facebook recently reminded me that it has been 3 years since I visited Taiwan so here’s one of the shots I took while there. This shows the National Theater building in Taipei and was taken during a fantastic, whirlwind tour of the city that I took myself on during the free Saturday I had in the middle of the trip. It was a horribly hot and humid day but I took advantage of the city’s excellent subway system and hit many of the main sights during 10 sweaty hours. The subway was, thankfully, nicely air conditioned.
For the technically inclined...
Great place Dave, I had a stop there back near ’95 -’96 when I had to get out of Australia for a weekend to serve my visa, I met a great group of guys in the Hard Rock Cafe there, we had each other laughing, they thought I was a giant, what I remember most is photographing a little kid running across this Theatre, and scooters everywhere….I also remember the customs card I had to sign before landing…DEATH TO ALL DRUG DEALERS…scared the living you know what out of me, I do not or will not do drugs but those airports back then you never know who touches your bags…as you can probably tell by now I like this post-
Thanks for the memories
