I had a lovely day today in Glasgow wandering around the University and down in the city centre with John Farnan, another long-time online connection who I met “in real life” for the first time this morning. Here’s a shot of John walking through one of the gates to the main building of the university. Having someone along to act as a shadow generator is really helpful.
Before our walk-around, we also met up with Richard Campbell, one of my oldest school friends (we lived close to each other and played together from the age of about 6 years old) who is now also a professional photographer. Lots of geeky photography and politics discussion ensued and, as far as I can tell, everyone had a good time.
