Art in Glasgow

One of the reasons I love Glasgow is the combination of humour and lack of respect for authority that so many of the locals exhibit. A great example is Lord Wellington’s traffic cone. This addition to the sculpture outside the Gallery of Modern Art is more or less permanent – the council remove it but it’s typically back again within a couple of days. At some point, they should just give up and declare it urban art.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/2.8
  • Camera: X20
  • Exposure bias: +67/100EV
  • Focal length: 28.4mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/50s
