Beach at Sigasiga Sands, Fiji (IR)

I’m having fun processing some of the infra-red images I shot in Fiji. On this trip, I decided to travel light with no laptop and this left me with none of the tools I needed to handle files from the IR camera. Now that I’m home though, I can break out Nikon viewNX and Photoshop to get these pictures ready.

This shot was taken on the beach at Sigasiga Sands, right in front of the cottage we were renting.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/13
  • Camera: NIKON D5000
  • Exposure bias: -1EV
  • Focal length: 14mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/750s
