Downtown San Antonio has a fabulous diversity of architectural styles. The city’s high-rise core appears to have started developing rather earlier than many other cities and, as a result, you’ll find 20 storey towers with elaborate brick facades, presumably from the 1920s and 30s, right alongside contemporary glass-clad cuboids.
