Extreme Speed Motorsports Ligier JS P2

It’s often fun to wander back through folders of images taken during frenetic race weekends and see what pops out. With two or three thousand exposures to race through immediately after the event, I’ll typically grab the top picks, mark a few other shots for future attention, then put off the final edit until very much later. Yesterday, I found myself in amongst the haul from last September’s World Endurance Championship race at Circuit of the Americas and a few new shots bubbled to the top as I scanned the grid. Here’s one, taken from the top of the CoTA tower, showing Extreme Speed Motorsports’ Ligier JS P2 from above.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/13
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 70mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/90s
