Barbecue Pitmaster

Dripping Springs Founder’s Day hosts a huge barbecue competition and it’s great fun to spend Saturday just wandering through the hundreds of mobile barbecue pits set up in the town center, talking to the folks on the teams and sampling their wares. This gentlemen was kind enough to let me take his picture as he waited for chicken, ribs and brisket to smoke.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 15mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/250s
