While I was waiting to take pictures of the awards ceremony following the Dripping Springs Ranch Rodeo competition a couple of weeks ago, I was chatting with one of the officials and he was very impressed by the quality of this horse. I must admit that I can’t tell a good horse from a bad one but I took this picture based on his advice. I was always told that, when taking pictures of animals or plants, look for good examples of the subject.
