Welcoming Face at Waitui

Waitui Marina in Savusavu, Fiji, is the place to hang out in an afternoon after finishing your diving for the day. Not only do they have a well-stocked pub (it’s not quite as private as the sign would make out, as far as I can tell) but they also have a restaurant downstairs that serves what I’m sure must be the best (and cheapest) fish and chips you’ll find anywhere on Fiji. This lady worked in the restaurant and was kind enough to pose for me during one of our post-dive get-togethers.

If you’re diving off Vanua Levu, make sure you go out with Colin and Janine of KoroSun Dive and you’ll almost certainly end up in Waitui at some point.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
