World Endurance Championship weekend is just around the corner and my batteries are charging! Here’s one of the cars, a Ford GT, that was racing in the event branded the “Lone Star Le Mans” at Circuit of the Americas last year. The on-track action starts at 9am tomorrow morning and runs through Saturday night. Unfortunately, the main race time has been pushed back so that it will no longer end in darkness but, regardless, it should be a fantastic weekend with a couple of new open-wheel series running events alongside the WEC race.
