My time at Circuit of the Americas last weekend was being paid for by one of the US F4 Championship driver’s sponsors. I’m giving them first dibs on their pictures so won’t post any here for a couple of weeks but, in the meantime, I have plenty more good shots from the support races around US Grand Prix weekend.
US Formula 4 is a race series promoted by the Sports Car Club of America which uses a standard, Honda-powered car. It’s designed to be an affordable way to get into open-wheel racing and is often the first step on the ladder for young drivers exiting karting and starting in professional competition. The formula is FIA sanctioned and has similar race series all around the world.
Here we see Momentum Motorsports driver Kent Vaccaro cresting the hill at turn 1 during the third and final race there on Sunday.
I’ll be posting all my F4 pictures from this race weekend and the earlier September races in my gallery at https://davewilson.smugmug.com/Sports/US-F4-Championship-2017/. Check there early next week for new pictures.
