F1 is only just catching on in the US and only one of the teams on the grid, Haas F1, is American-owned. Both their drivers are currently European. Here’s Romain Grosjean seen during the qualification session for the 2017 United States Grand Prix on Saturday, October 21st. F1 as a whole was bought last year by Liberty Media, a US company, so I expect we’ll see a lot more US involvement in the future.
