The Spring Konstant

Technically, this isn’t my photo since I’m in it and the shutter was pressed by Jennifer Navarrete, the FRC media relations person, who took my camera and insisted I join the other kids and mentors for our award picture. This is “The Spring Konstant”, Dripping Springs High School’s FIRST Robotics Competition team after winning the Engineering Inspiration award at the Alamo Regional a couple of weeks ago. The team are today boarding a bus to Houston to take part in World Championships along with around 700 other teams from around the globe.

Find all of my photos from the Alamo Regional at https://davewilson.smugmug.com/Robotics/FRC-Alamo-Regional-2018/.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/5.6
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 32mm
  • ISO: 1600
  • Shutter speed: 1/125s
