We’re back to New Mexico today. This image was shot at Plaza Blanca, a wonderful, privately owned location just outside Abiquiu. it became our fallback visit after we discovered that all the hiking trails at Ghost Ranch were closed. Getting here involves 5 miles on a washboard road but the trip is definitely worth the effort. The site has great foot access to the hoodoos in the area seen here and the dry river canyon behind.
