The Alamo Cenotaph can be found directly in front of the famous missing in the heart of San Antonio, Texas. I gather that plans to redevelop the Alamo site are currently underway and that moving this 1936 monument elsewhere is one of the tasks being considered. The building in the background is the historic Emily Morgan Hotel. Built in the 1920s, it was an office building until 1984 when it was renovated into a hotel.
