Taggart Lake

Time for another dive into the archives. I was looking through some pictures taken in National Parks this morning so thought it would be fun to post a few of those this week. This is a shot taken back in June, 2016 during our NxNW expedition to Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. This particular morning, we got up before 4am to hike up to Taggart Lake in time for sunrise. The effort was worth it since we had a glassy-calm lake surface for about 45 minutes before the wind rose and destroyed the reflections.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/16
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 14mm
  • ISO: 64
  • Shutter speed: 1/15s
