Inside the Dome

While looking through unpublished pictures today, I stumbled upon several shots taken during a special, behind the scenes tour of the Texas State Capitol roof that I took back in December 2022. This image was taken in the room between the dome and ceiling of the rotunda. The enclosed area in the foreground contains a circular viewing gallery into the public section of the rotunda and its ceiling contains the star and “TEXAS” text visible from the floor of the building.

For the technically inclined...

  • Camera: OM-1
  • ISO: 6400
  • Shutter speed: 1/125s
