Rain

Rain to totals of up to 21 inches have fallen in Central Texas over the July 4th weekend. Locally, my rain gauge registered only 3.7 inches and we were lucky enough to be largely unaffected with the low water crossing between our house and the main road remaining open. The same can’t be said for areas deeper in the Hill Country and around Georgetown, though.

This was the view from my bedroom window yesterday morning and pretty much sums up the last 3 days.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/4.5
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Focal length: 288mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Shutter speed: 1/350s
