Downpour

We saw plenty of rain in Fiji but most of it was in the late afternoon or after dusk so it didn’t really affect our plans. On one afternoon, though, I got caught in a downpour while out wandering the tide pools on the shore. I took this shot while sheltering under a canopy by the beach after the heavens opened.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/5.9
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Focal length: 200mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Shutter speed: 1/500s
