Wrecked Fire Truck Detail, Johnson City

For a short photo trip close to home, it’s hard to beat the Johnson City area for me. This is the home town of Lyndon Baines Johnson and it’s just chock full of great locations including the national park around LBJ’s cattle ranch, a 1916 historical farm, a sculpture garden, a great example of a town square and courthouse and an old feed mill.

The feed mill used to contain a bunch of small restaurants and artists’ stores but has fallen into disrepair over the last few years. It still makes an interesting place to shoot and this wrecked fire truck is one of my favourite targets.

Great detail, Dave. The vignette really adds emphasis to this image.
